The Wuxi Beautiful Health Industry Park is a professional industrial ecosystem built in collaboration between Wuxi High-tech Zone and Jiangnan University, focusing on the beautiful health industry. The park integrates scientific research, technological innovation, and industry incubation, offering one-stop services to upstream and downstream enterprises in the domestic and international industrial chains. These services include project implementation, R&D innovation, accelerating commercialization, and expanding market scale. The park aims to become a leading beautiful health industry hub in China, gathering talented individuals from various fields and creating local brands to provide consumers with more high-quality beauty products and health services.
The industrial park is located in the China-Europe Industrial Innovation Zone (Meicun Street), covering a planned area of 7.7 square kilometers. The total investment for the project is approximately RMB 500 million (approximately USD 70 million), with the start-up area covering 1.3 square kilometers and the incubation park “Qi Di Building” having a construction area of 38,000 square meters.
As an important component of the Wuxi International Life Sciences Innovation Park, the Beautiful Health Industry Park will leverage the advantages of Wuxi High-tech Zone’s biopharmaceutical industry cluster. Its core competitive strength lies in the development of effective ingredients and high-end formulations. The park will also rely on the technological advantages of Jiangnan University’s original innovations and the resource platform provided by its alumni association to further gather upstream and downstream companies in the beautiful health industry chain. This will help Wuxi’s beautiful health industry reach new heights and create a new business card for the region, “Jiangnan Meiwan.”
The park integrates scientific research, technological innovation, and industry incubation. It relies on seven top-tier research platforms, including the Ministry of Education’s Key Laboratory of Synthetic and Biological Colloids and the National Medical Products Administration’s Cosmetics Regulatory Science Research Base, to provide full-chain scientific research support from basic research to applied development.
At the same time, eight major industrial ecosystems within the park form a comprehensive development matrix: listed companies lead technological breakthroughs and empower innovative medical enterprises; upstream and downstream companies achieve efficient collaboration to enhance innovation and responsiveness; equipment and consumables companies provide hardware support; beauty and personal care brands open market channels and inject brand vitality; custom manufacturing services meet diverse demands and accelerate results implementation; the industrial capital ecosystem partners with leading institutions to support financing and listings; the digital empowerment platform expands market channels and supports brand live-streaming GMV breakthroughs; and the full industrial chain quality certification ecosystem, in collaboration with three major associations and authoritative institutions, ensures compliant development.
In the future, the park will create a better environment: The industrial chain will form clusters, further enhancing the ecosystem and providing more cooperative resources for talent. The innovation chain will rise to new heights, expanding international innovation resources and helping talent connect with cutting-edge global technologies. The service chain will be refined and solidified, accelerating the construction of public platforms and improving investment and financing systems, providing all-around support for talent development.
